depends - if you like it larger fitted then medium. i'm 5'10 and got a Large. it fits well. i can actually wear it over my suits to work and it is longer than my suit jacket - which i like.

I am 5' 7" as well and the Large fits me just fine. It runs a bit slim on the body; my waist line is 34 or 36 and it's a good fit. If you are slim, say 32 or below, you might want to go with the Medium. Hope this helps!
