What size should i buy since there are no 1/2 sizes?

I wear a size 10 to 10.5 in most all sneakers, but i wear a size 9.5 in all timberland boots (no wiggle room but no pain what so ever either.) Should I just grab these "Mudguards" in a size 10 or is the size 9 gunna be too tight and painful? If the size 9 is truly a size 10 inside, maybe they stretch a bit? i really don't know what to do and i really wanna cop these. MY FOOT WITHOUT A SOCK HEEL TO TOE IS exactly 10.5 inches long. Thanks for your time.
