Do all Applebottoms fit the same way?

I'm a curvy woman with a high waist-hip ratio, and recently bought a pair of Applebottoms, the first jeans I've ever owned that didn't gape at the back of the waistband. Do all Applebottoms fit the same way around the waist and hips? Some of the models make it look like some jeans are made for narrow hips, and that won't work on me.
