It is listed as a "Heavy Jacket". It all depends on what the winter is like in your area. A Southern California winter? You'll be fine. If you're seeing snow on the regular, you may want to wear something a little heavier.

Hello,

After reviewing our inventory for item ID 1416424 the length of this jacket is 30 inches. I would not consider this jacket heavy, I say it is similar to a bomber jacket just a little lighter. It can be a chilly spring night jacket. Good Luck!
