Are the name brand items authentic?

I purchased Apple Bottoms sweatpants and they appear to be authentic. They say "made in China" on various tags in the garment, which is not unusual. The Apple Bottoms logo appears on all the rivets and embellishments. The color is consistent throughout the garment seams and all the stitching is consistent in uniformity and color. I have no clue as to how else I would know a fake from the real thing. Hope this helps.
