what is the difference between a small/medium and a medium/large...most snapbacks are just one size?

Small medium would be for little kids. Large snap backs are for boys and men.

Well this is what I think, new era normally makes fitted hats so the base size of the smaller size snapbacks are probably made for people who maybe wear size 6 3/4 and up and medium and large would fit guys like me sizes 7-8

A small/medium fits 6 3/4 to 7 1/4, while a medium/large fits 7 3/8 to 7 5/8.
